About The Authors

Michael Moreci is a screenwriter and bestselling comics author. His award-winning debut feature film, Revealer, premiered on Shudder in the summer of 2022. He was recently hired by Paper Street Pictures to write the suspense thriller Come Find Me, and he recently completed directing his first feature film, from a screenplay he co-wrote. In the comics space, Michael is the creator of the acclaimed gothic horror series The Plot, the werewolf drama Curse, and the sword-and-sorcery series Barbaric, which Entertainment Weekly, Thrillist, and many others called one of the best comics of the year. He’s also written for numerous legendary characters and properties, including Star Wars, Batman, and Stranger Things.

Nicholas Eames was born to parents of infinite patience and unstinting support in Wingham, Ontario. Kings of the Wyld is his first novel, Bloody Rose his second! He loves loves black coffee, neat whiskey, the month of October, and video games, anime, movies, and all things awesome.

He is co-writing (with Michael Moreci) the one-shot, oversized comic BARBARIC: Wrong Kind of Righteous for Vault Comics!

About The Illustrators

Nathan C. Gooden is an award-winning illustrator and sequential artist, as well as the Senior Art Director at Vault Comics. Nathan studied animation at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, and worked in film production, before co-founding Vault Comics. Nathan’s previous works include Brandon Sanderson’s Dark One (Vault), Barbaric (Vault), Zojaqan (Vault), and Killbox (from American Gothic Press). He lives in Southern California, where he plays a lot of basketball and hikes constantly with his wife.
