Micol Arianna Beltramini writes and translates books and comics. Author of the bestseller 101 cose da fare a Milano almeno una volta nella vita (Newton Compton 2008), her latest novel is titled La mia amica Scavezzacollo (Hacca 2022). Among her comics are Last Goodbye: un tributo a Jeff Buckley (Edizioni BD 2019), Murder Ballads (Mondadori Oscar Ink 2021), Anna dai capelli verdi (Il Battello a Vapore 2022), and Heartbreak Hotel (Il Castoro 2024). For Edizioni BD, she curated the Psycho Pop collection and the volume Viva Valentina!, which features stories of Crepax’s heroine written and illustrated by other authors (her own stories by Corrado Roi and Lola Airaghi). Since 2015, she has been translating Crepax's entire body of work into English for Fantagraphics, and starting in 2024, she teaches storytelling at the International School of Comics.

Agnese Innocente, born in 1994, has had a strong passion for drawing and storytelling since she was very young. In 2019 she worked as a complete author on the comic book adaptation of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (Battello a Vapore). In 2020 she drew the YA graphic novel Girotondo (Editrice Il Castoro), written by Sergio Rossi, winning the Andersen Award for best comic book in 2021. In 2022 she drew Anna dai capelli verdi (Battello a Vapore), a contemporary adaptation of Anna dai capelli rossi written by Micol Beltramini, winning the Boscarato Award for best comic book for a young audience in 2022. Also written by Micol Beltramini, in 2024 she drew Heartbreak Hotel (Editrice Il Castoro), later acquired in several other countries.
