What was the nature of the crisis and hope he predicted in “The Shape of Things to Come,” a prophetic novel about the history of the past and the future? Wells’s answers to these questions reveal the importance of bringing change to our world today to build a positive future.

“This book covers a wide spectrum of topics, including the future of science and technology, outer space, the savior’s role, and international diplomacy. I hope that this book will serve as a tonic for my readers to alleviate or at least relieve the stresses of modern society.” —Ryuho Okawa, Preface
