About The Author

Charlene Finn grew up in Eastern Washington. Before becoming a writer, she was an RN who worked in the ICU. In 1998, she received an MFA in Fiction from Warren Wilson College for Writers. She was awarded a writing residency at Hedgebrook in 2002; in 2004, she received the Washington State Artist Trust literature fellowship for an excerpt of The Goode Sisters. Her stories have been published in Potomac Review andEllipsis, among other literary publications. Charlene lives in Seattle, Washington, where she is at work on her second novel, The Shadow Sister.
