Don Tapscott

Don Tapscott, Executive Chairman of the Blockchain Research Institute, is one of the world’s leading authorities on the impact of technology on business and society. He has authored eighteen widely read books, including the NYT best-seller Wikinomics.  A two times TED speaker, his TED Talk on how blockchain is changing the world has been watched by over 20 million people.

In 2016, with his son Alex, he coauthored the global bestseller Blockchain Revolution, now translated into over twenty languages. In 2017, Don and Alex cofounded the Blockchain Research Institute, whose 150+ projects are the definitive investigation into blockchain strategy, use-cases, implementation challenges and organizational transformations. The BRI has since expanded globally to focus is on Web3—specifically the integration of AI, and blockchain.  A BSc, MEd, and DLL (Hon), he is Chancellor Emeritus Trent University, an adjunct professor at INSEAD and a Member of the Order of Canada. He advises business and government leaders in many countries.
