About The Author

Laurence Jurdem is a visiting professor of US history at Fairfield University. He received his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and his PhD from Fordham University. He is the author of Paving the Way for Reagan: The Influence of Conservative Media on U.S. Foreign Policy as well as The Rough Rider and the Professor: Theodore Roosevelt, Henry Cabot Lodge and the Friendship That Changed American History. Laurence lives in Connecticut with his wife, son, two dogs, and two cats.
