Tanisha Rao

Tanisha Rao is a queer essayist and the Chief of Social Voice for Sangya Project, an Indian pleasure brand and the country’s first manufacturer of sex-tech. They lead Sangya’s mission to create adult-focused, trauma-informed sex education that challenges stereotypes around pleasure and identity. With a background in wildlife conservation and social impact, Tanisha brings a distinct perspective to sex education, critiquing how pop culture and policy can misrepresent people's lived realities and further marginalise vulnerable groups.
